Day 16 Starve a cold and feed it soup
Up at 6:30 a.m. - 7 hours of sleep. Weight - 179 lbs. 6:35 a.m. drank 16 oz. 1/4 diluted pomegranate-cranberry juice. 7:15 - 9:15 a.m. attended Optimist Club meeting. 9:45 a.m. - drank 12 oz. raspberry-acai green tea. 10:30 a.m. - taught class, did the usual light workout. (25 push ups, 45 leg lifts, 25 sit ups). 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. - Did some fund raising for Push ups for Peace. 3:00 p.m. - drank 10 oz. of hot and sour soup broth from Little Rangoon, the Burmese restaurant. I started sneezing earlier today and my nose started running. Whenever that happens I get the hot and sour soup. It's served very hot and very spicy. You can see the little hot peppers floating in the soup, each one it's own tiny explosion. It hit the spot. 3:30 -8:40 p.m. - taught classes and lessons. By 8:00 p.m. my nose was running again and was feeling a little tired. 9:25 p.m. - drank 8 oz. of chicken soup broth from Ross's restaurant. They have very good soup also. I felt like my body was catching a cold, but I can't let that happen. 10:05 p.m. - took some calcium, vitamin D and 1/2 aspirin and called it a day. With a good night's rest, I'll feel better and be able to handle tomorrow's tough 90 minute workout.
